Check-in is at 3:00pm and check-out is at 11:00am.
Late check ins (after 8pm) need to be arranged in advance so we are prepared to be received without difficulty to you.
We are a small staff and do not have 24-hour front desk availability.
Late check-out must be arranged in advance and is subject to availability for a $50 fee.
If you arrive earlier than 3:00pm, you’re welcome to drop bags until your room is ready.
We reserve the right to attach discretionary fees to unapproved late check-outs.

Cancellations occurring 30 days or more prior to your stay, will receive a full refund.
For cancellations made 29 to 8 days prior to your stay, there is a 15% cancellation fee from the total cost of the stay.
Cancellations within 7 days of your stay are subject to the full cost of your stay.
Early check outs and No-Shows are subject to the full rate of the stay.

Our rooms can comfortably accommodate 2 people.
A $50 extra person fee will be applied to the credit card on file for any additional people in the rooms above standard occupancy.
We are a family friendly property and children 12 and under are free.
However, we do not have rollaway beds.

For the consideration of our guests and employees, all of our guest rooms and patios are smoke-free.
However, smoking is allowed on a designated bench outside our front patio.
A $500 cleaning fee will be added to your bill if smoke of any kind is detected in your room.
Candles are not permitted for use in our suites and can result in a $50 room damage fee.

There is an optional breakfast menu available to our hotel guests Monday - Saturday for an additional price.
For our guests, we offer a coffee nook serving Nespresso and Rishi Teas, available 24/7.

We love pets!
At this time we do not accept pets to stay at the main hotel.
Our cottages however, offer three pet-friendly rooms. Theodore, Pinkerton and Jane.

No, we do not have rollaway beds at this time.
For families looking to share space we have options for a two suite opening between Schoolhouse + Edna in the main building.
An option for a small family for the cottages is Theodore, which offers a convertible couch to twin size sleeping space.

Yes, we require the guest to be above the age of 21 and a photo ID is required at check-in.

At this time, due to the age and historic nature of our hotel, we do not have a room that will accommodate a wheelchair, however, our friends and fellow hotel operators at Hotel Rest and The Hanford House are able to accommodate a wheelchair at this time.
Our restaurant, bar, cozy snug (cocktail lounge), along with our front and back patios will accommodate a wheelchair and we do encourage you to come and explore our offerings. Worth noting, we can also accommodate canes and walkers, we do have handicap parking available and we also have an ADA accessible bathroom for our guests. Please let us know how we can make your visit a memorable and positive experience and we do hope to see you in beautiful Amador City in the near future.

No, however we have limited complimentary parking located on the west side of the hotel. There are also two free public parking lots and free street parking in Amador City.
